Rye Development

In 2021, in partnership with Weinstein PR, we began working with Rye Development to provide communications support for its proposed pumped storage hydropower project near Goldendale, Washington. The facility is designed to deliver 12 hours of energy storage and up to 1,200 megawatts of on-demand, carbon-free electricity—enough to power roughly 500,000 homes across the Pacific Northwest.

Rye Development

The Goldendale Energy Storage Project will help enhance grid reliability, ensuring electricity is available when it's needed most. It also facilitates the integration of more intermittent renewable energy sources, supporting Washington, Oregon, and California as they move toward 100% renewable energy mandates.

Building on our successful collaboration at Goldendale, Pitchfork and Weinstein PR now offer comprehensive communications support for all Rye Development projects nationwide. Our services include media and government relations, copywriting and editing, social media and video strategy, and the development of an e-newsletter.
