Becky Brun, Owner
Becky Brun is a former journalist and magazine editor who enjoys research and planning as much as she does storytelling. Becky believes that the most successful organizations are constantly evolving — and their communications strategies should evolve, too. While she started her career in print media, Becky is an innovator and a lifelong learner who brings the latest industry tools, an open mind and critical thinking to everything she does.
A thoughtful and passionate leader, Becky was elected to Hood River City Council in 2014. With her colleagues, she's creating policies and programs that improve the quality of life in Hood River while considering the needs of future generations. She is Chair of the Hood River County Energy Plan Steering Committee, serves as the board president for Gorge Owned, and sits on the Oregon Community Foundation’s Leadership Council.
When she's not hard at work, Becky is likely exploring the trails near her home in Hood River, Oregon, where she loves to run and mountain bike with her husband, Jonathan, and black lab, Dufur. Having inherited her mother's green thumb, she loves getting her hands dirty planting trees, maintaining trails and tending to her garden.
